The Diabetes Summit

At the 2015 Diabetes World Summit, it was stated that 387 million people in the world have diabetes. Over a year later, that number is now 415 million–that’s the equivalent of every single resident of the U.S., Germany and Bolivia having diabetes. By 2040, the IDF predicts this will reach 642 million…with pre-diabetes and metabolic syndrome, we’re in a global epidemic that’s truly killing us. Don’t miss the 2016 Diabetes Summit from April 18-25, 2016, free and online!  https://qt247.isrefer.com/go/DIAB16reg/afalcon/

When I listened to The Diabetes Summit last year I found it to be very interesting. I had no idea how important this would become to me just a few months later. My daughter became very sick and was diagnosed with DKA, diabetic ketosis acidosis. What I had learned listening to the Diabetes Summit gave me more confidence that she would heal.
